About Fibraura

Fibraura is an independent craft materials brand founded in 2019.

We work with materials made for the hand — ribbons, yarns, decorative cords, specialty papers, craft components, traditional craft materials, and related tools.

Our interest is simple: material, texture, color, form, and the experience of working with them.

The Name

The name Fibraura brings together two ideas: fiber and aura.

“Fiber” comes from the materials at the center of our work — yarn, cord, paper, textile, ribbon, and other tactile elements.

“Aura” refers to the feeling or character an object can carry through its color, texture, and form.

Together, Fibraura is about materials and the atmosphere they create.

What We Offer

Our collection brings together materials for wrapping, knotting, textile work, paper craft, jewelry, decoration, and other forms of making.

Many are connected to East Asian craft and visual culture. Through them, we hope to offer a more direct and natural way to encounter the colors, forms, techniques, and everyday details found within these traditions.

Rather than defining how a material should be used, we are interested in what it can become in different hands.

Where We Work

Fibraura operates in China.

Our products are developed, packed, and shipped from China to customers around the world.

For our Mizuhiki collection, the materials are sourced from Japan, with processing, finishing, and preparation completed in China.
